The joint venture company Ketner Utsch had submitted a tender on production of number plates and won. Of course, the number plates are manufactured on the machines in the recently opened production facilities, but for the packing process, Ketner Utsch needed a specially designed, programmable conveyor.

Ketner Utsch asked both Danish and foreign companies for advice. Manager Henrik Sørensen states: “ We chose Boe-Therm because they could offer a swift and very professional solution of this project. They solved the job according to our list of demands 100%.”    

The production outcome of Ketner Utsch is approx. 1.000.000 number plates, made for the Danish taxation authorities, SKAT.    

The Trans XL is a standard Boe-Therm conveyor. A photo cell monitors the number of blanks and the user friendly XL control box allows for time- and speed control.    

Manager Henrik Sørensen says with a smile: “By mistake, we did not receive the manual for the conveyor until after a month, but this was no problem, as the operating was very easy.”
